Its Been A While...

Its been a while... I pray you remember me. This hiatus I've been on has been a bit long, but I feel like it was needed. I've still been active musically, making preparations to the album that's still on the way. But I feel the most important thing about my absence was the ability to find out more about myself. Anthony the artist, Anthony the producer, Anthony the son/big brother, and Anthony the dreamer. At times its hard to differentiate these roles from myself and I easily get lost in one of the many roles that I play, neglecting the various others. In reality, these, "roles" I find myself separated in, accumulate to make up who I am altogether.

I understand this is a bit deep for being gone for so long, but I be that deep mother-fucker. Get used to it.

In other news, the music and production has taken a step-up in quality and quantity. It's crazy that something that started as a hobby, in a computer class in high school, has completely overwhelmed my life in every aspect. There is no fall back anymore...no plan B. It's all or nothing. Now Boarding Over Everything.

Below is a new song to give you a bit of insight on where I am right now creatively. It was written after a few life altering events and was meant to help me relieve stress and vent to whomever chooses to listen.

G.O.O.D. Fridays Are Back

Mr. West shows us what him and the rest of G.O.O.D. Music have been up to, including the new recruit 2 Chainz (formerly Tity Boi of Playaz Circle) in, "Mercy", the week long awaited track from the labels forthcoming compilation album. Meanwhile, "Theraflu", is a synth-filled effort with DJ Khaled, referencing the likes of Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose, as well as Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphreys.
