Tesfaye has come along way from House of Balloons though. Teaming up with Drake, he landed four features on Drake's sophomore project, Take Care. I've had the privilege to burn about an ounce of really, really, dank marijuana with one of the members, Rizzy, over a span of about a year and a half. I can also personally attest that they all have something different and equally unique to bring to the table. Their style is definitely not reminiscent of the typical Atlanta rap nowadays, which is always a breathe of fresh air. Here's one of their group compilations below.

Hands down the best show I've ever been to. If you can spend the money, it's well worth going to. This setlist is accurate for the most part....They performed "Niggas in Paris" three times for the sold out arena of 15000 fans. Atlanta was too live. Hov took it back...Ye ripped the performance as well as screwed up (as usual) and recovered the Good Life verse. The vibe was just incredible. I'm so proud to be from New York right now. The ROC was definitely in the building.
I cant wait until I have the opportunity to do something like this. I grew up watching these two sell out arena's and host some of the best shows of all time. Gotta make that shit happen.
We've literally been working on this amended demo-tape for the past week and a half. 5 songs. No samples. Three out of five songs with my original production. Sh*t's copyrighted now so we're legit.
This is a little unorthodox for what is usually posted on here, but today is a bit of a special day to me. Twenty years ago the person who would eventually become one of the most influential, and motivational sources in my life was born. I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate this persons being, wisdom, sense of humor, and overall personality. From this spawned a friendship, that I vowed to never to let die. She has inspired me to do things I never thought capable, and even more than what I could even dream.
Having said that, continue to follow your dreams and don't let anything come between them. You're incredibly talented in many ways, incredibly driven, and beyond beautiful. Continue to bless the people you come across with the happiness and motivation that you've brought me. Continue to live for today and tomorrow.....and on top of all of that, continue to get really f*cking high.
So here's to you. Here's to the memories we've had...and the memories to come. Since you we're there from the start, you'll never sit and watch from the sidelines.
The Odd Future crooner, Frank Ocean, is back with a collection of 64 songs he recorded before his groundbreaking mixtape, "Nostalgia/ULTRA", while under his previous alias, Lonny Breaux. Mr. Ocean seems to be pretty busy lately, juggling his own headlining tour as well as appearing in features that surprised many of us. Most notably would be his vocal work on two songs for Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaborative album, "Watch the Throne"... which, by the way, just went platinum (930,000 copies sold in the United States.)

I appreciate the love people have been showing me over the tape. As of now, 2 days after the drop date, over 350 people have downloaded Now Boarding, which honestly was a lot more than was expected from my freshman project. It doesn't stop here though.. Project two will be coming sooner than expected, plus you can expect a few more surprises in store for all of my listeners.
So I was in L.A. this past week. Spent a few days with a really close friend of mine. Stayed through 4/20, which, was amazing. Cali bud is incredible...and medicinal Cali bud is even better. Big shout out to the west coast. It was my first time in the area and I can't wait to go back. I may end up living out there someday...
Anyways...made a few beats, did some recording and stuff. Every thing all iree. You'll hear the product of that pretty soon.
Next up I believe is Chicago or back to New York. I also have to get a new passport...since that got stolen. Shout out to the dick that stole my car earlier this month.
